The Resource and Library Centres located at our Bentleigh East and Mentone campuses have a commitment to support students across all areas of the curriculum.
We provide dedicated environments that foster independent learning and research, and promote engagement with reading and literature.
Our students are always welcome to visit before, during and after school to complete homework, read or maximise their study time.
Opening Hours
Bentleigh East Campus
- Monday to Friday – 8am to 4pm
- Home Learning Support Sessions – 3.15pm to 4pm
Mentone Campus
- Monday to Thursday – 7.45am to 5.30pm
- Friday – 7.45am to 4pm
- Home Learning Support Sessions Mondays & Tuesdays – 3.15 to 4pm (Year 7)

User Services
Specialist staff develop and deliver programs to support St Bede’s College students, encouraging them to become discerning and independent users of information. These programs include:
- A reading program – all students up to Year 9 take part in regular interactive sessions through their English classes with the aim of developing student engagement with reading
- Year 7 Orientation – a comprehensive introduction to the Resource Centre and its services
- Information Literacy / Research skills – individual and class tuition
- Literature promotion – including guest speakers and Author visits
