The Senior Pathways Information Evening will be held online on Wednesday, 14 July 2021, from 7:00pm.
Ideally, the night would be in person, however planning for this has been impacted through changing restrictions and the short time frame required that a decision be made. A communication will be sent to all Year 11 2022 families next week outlining the process for accessing the meeting; it is strongly advised that all students attend with at least one parent or carer. Topics for discussion will include Senior Pathways options (both VCE and VCAL), subject selection (including Vocational Education and Training) and other course options.
The online information evening will require all families in a central online meeting space from 7:00pm. From 7:30pm onwards, families will be able to self-select up to five different Learning Area information sessions. These will run for 15 minutes, with the evening concluding no later than 8:45pm; families may opt out earlier if so required.
We are conscious that for many families these decisions may require further discussion than is possible on the evening. Opportunities for conversation regarding individual pathways will be provided thereafter, the details of which will be clarified on the evening. Should you have any questions or concerns at this stage, please do not hesitate to let us know here at the College. We thank you for your ongoing support and look forward to what is an important time for all involved.
