“Our students across Years 7 to 12 had great opportunities to learn about some fascinating moments in History. From Ancient Egypt, Medieval Europe, to the Vietnam War and World War II, as well as exploring Australia’s involvement in World War I, these topics have been both eye and mind opening.

Bringing a creative and hands-on approach to learning experiences allows students to fully immerse themselves in each subject. Whether it’s been crafting models or wreaths, incursions or excursions across the city, moving ANZAC services or speaking with Holocaust survivors, these offer memorable and personal aspects that endure long after class finishes.

It’s been a pleasure to see each learner flourish throughout the year and we trust they’ll bring their learnings from History into greater perspectives as they move through life.”

“Medieval Day was interesting because we got to learn about many different things that happened in those times. Archery was really fun because we got to learn how to shoot a bow and arrow and see how far and high we can shoot the arrow. For Crime and Punishment, we got to learn about how people were tested and prisoned in medieval times. Our favourite activity was Archery. It was a really fun day!”
